The studio was started by local artist Rebecca Page who lives with Down syndrome. Rebecca and her mother have joined to create a place for other local artists with disabilities to come together and share a space for creating their artwork. The artists in the co-op display their work in studio as well as in many of the numerous art shows and events in the Alpine/Big Bend area.
Rebecca is also a self-advocate and public speaker. She has given many speeches ranging in attendance from 10 – 1000. She speaks about Livin her dreams, Being More Alike than Different, and about Down syndrome.
