The Austin Center for Grief & Loss provides services to individuals and families who have experienced a loss due to the death of a loved one from illness, miscarriage, accident, suicide, or violence; along with those who have experienced loss due to divorce or separation.
Austin Grief is taking immediate action to broadly expand their mental health services via telehealth to meet the needs of people suffering extreme stress, anxiety, and other mental health impacts due to COVID and during this time of social unrest. People are experiencing loss of health, jobs, community, and any sense of security. Austin Grief is here to meet those needs and has gone entirely to telehealth services during this pandemic. They now offer individual therapy, group therapy, and support group sessions via telehealth platforms. Austin Grief anticipates establishing additional support groups to meet the anticipated greater need for mental health services due to COVID and during this time of social unrest.
