Palmer Drug Abuse Program is a fellowship of young people and parents who share their experience, love and understanding that they may solve their common problems and help others to recover from the effects of mind-changing chemicals.
It is a spiritually based, twelve-step recovery program. recognizes the tremendous power of peer pressure and provides the teen with a peer group that establishes love, acceptance, and mutual accountability due to the effects of mind changing chemical also offers group discussions and individual coaching to parents. The parent group provides suggestions, experience, and understanding to parents concerning their role in dealing with their child's drug problem and helps parents learn to communicate more effectively with their children.
Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) is a peer-based support group and 12-step program. While we do provide services to adults (older group), our specialty is in helping children and youth ages 5 to 17 with the issues surrounding their own or a family members drug and/or alcohol abuse.
The PDAP Pee Wee Program is a recurring preventative program for children ages 5 to 12. Games, projects and group activities keep the youngsters involved and wanting to return week after week.
