Funded by the US Department of Education and Office of Special Education Programs, programs are in place to provide training ,education, information, referrals,emotional support, and assistance obtaining appropriate services to individuals with disabiities and their families.
Some of the ways PRN helps is to offer trainings and webinars to help families understand their rights and responsibilities under the IDEA, obtain and evaluate resources and services and participate as team members with professionals in planning services for children.
Other ways thier staff help is giving assistance over the phone or in person to families who have questions about their child's needs, the ARD (Admission, Review and Dismissal ) meeting, the IEP (Individual Education Plan) and other topics.
