Raising Wheels Foundation

The Raising Wheels Foundation is assisting parents to raise differently abled children to become enabled and empowered individuals and to raise the public's understanding of the need for accessibility by providing resources and inspiration. They provide printed and electronic resources to nonprofits, organizations and professionals who serve the differently abled community. They focus on partnering with businesses, schools and community centers to install life assist tables and proper equipment in public places for the differently abled community through their changing spaces program. They also have an accessibility grant program that provides families of differently abled children the medically necessary equipment not covered by insurance to gain better access in their own home.
