Rettsyndrome Connect is intended to be an open and supportive environment for all participants on Rett-related topics, information about events, medical trials and a State Family Empowerment Team Representatives list. Every state has a dedicated volunteer who plays a valuable role in empowering families with both information and connectivity. These representatives can help you find resources in your state and connect you with other families in your area. Parents of newly diagnosed children with Rett syndrome need a safe space to share their experiences and discuss resources, equipment, toys, tips and more. These groups are limited to parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with Rett syndrome between the dates indicated. It allows them to meet other parents in the same life stage, make friendships and connections, and find helpful resources and support during this challenging time. These groups are moderated by IRSF staff and supported by volunteer parents.
