The Ronald McDonald House is a "home-away-from-home" for critically ill children (up to 21 years of age) and their families. San Antonio has 3 active homes which service San Antonio's various medical centers. Ronald McDonald House relies on donations. There is no fee, but families may make a donation.
Families must live at least 20 miles from the facility where they are receiving treatment. A referral form from a social worker, charge nurse or doctor is required to receive a room. For questions regarding a stay, call 210-580-9000.
