• SCID Angels for Life is committed to increasing awareness, providing a safe environment for families to connect, granting family scholarships, promoting research, and providing parent and family education for those affected by Severe Combined Immune Deficiency. SCID Angels believes that through our advocacy and support we can empower every patient to strive for the highest possible quality of life.
• Severe Combined Immunodeficiency is also known as “The Bubble Boy Disease.
• We’ve reached our goal of universal newborn screening for SCID in the United States! It’s a journey that took us ten years to complete, but on December 10, 2018, the 50th state began screening for SCID…what an accomplishment!!!  

• The scholarship fund covers: Child Care For Sibling, Food/Nutrition, Medical Expenses, Rent Assistance, Utilities, Medical Equipment.
