Athlete Leadership Programs (ALPs) give individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to stand up and let their voices be heard, as well as teach them the leadership skills to help shape the direction and movement of Special Olympics.
The Young Athletes Program (YAP) is a sports play program designed to introduce children ages two to seven to the world of physical activity.
Motor Activities Training Program (MATP) is for athletes who cannot compete in official Special Olympics sports because they cannot physically perform movements or cannot follow the rules due to cognitive or behavioral limitations.
Healthy Athletes is a Special Olympics program that provides free health screenings in a fun, welcoming environment.
