Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs
The Special Needs ministry is designed to help integrate people with special needs into the life of the parish. This ministry provides a faith filled and loving place for children and adults with special needs and their families. The hope is to provide a path of friendship and community for the person and their families.
Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation – This program has developed faith formation and sacramental preparation for people with special needs. Working with the Faith Formation office, the church assists parents and caregivers by providing resources for education at home as well as some 1 on 1 time. No one is denied sacraments based on their situation. The church is happy to work with everyone based on their abilities.
There is also a need for individuals who would like to help out by being a Mass Buddy to individuals that have difficulty during Mass. All volunteers must be EIM certified. For more information contact the Community Ministry Office.
