Stephen F. Austin State University, Gwen and Ed Cole Audiology Lab

The audiology professional(s) of Cole Audiology Lab are dedicated to meeting the hearing health needs of the East Texas community. Cole Audiology Lab's comprehensive audiological services are available to the general public, as well as those associated with SFA. The Cole Audiology Lab provides continuing hearing health care and provides hearing aids, hearing protection and assistive devices.  Fees will vary depending upon the type of service performed and generally range between $40 and $250. We do not accept health insurance; however, we will assist you with filing an insurance claim. Discounted services are offered for individuals who have Medicaid insurance, SFA students and SFA employees. Additionally, we offer payment plan options at 0% interest rate. Diagnostic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages are available in the Cole Audiology Lab. If a hearing loss is identified, a person may choose to continue receiving audiological services at the Cole Audiology Lab. Dr. Frank Brister and Dr. Kelly Langston Jobe offer follow-up services, including digital hearing aid and assistive listening device fitting, hearing aid cleaning and repair. Dr. Jobe will determine eligibility for services through the following programs:Texas Workforce Commission; Hear Now Foundation; STAP provider.
