Tejas Health Care (THC) is a nonprofit corporation registered with the Texas Secretary of State, formed in April 1, 2007 for the purposes of providing comprehensive health care services to the Medically Underserved Population (MUP) in the Fayette County area. THC was granted a 501(c)(3) exemption by the Internal Revenue Service on April 2008; operations began in 2009 and in 2012 THC became a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
The Tejas Health Care mission is to provide quality, affordable, compassionate and accessible primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to the communities we serve. Our vision is to provide health care everyone can afford.
Everyday Tejas Health Care is working to eliminate barriers to health care and fighting to improve the health status of our community. We are a full-service health center that addresses all the basic health care needs of our patients; including medical, dental, behavioral health, and health education services.
