The Children’s Grand Adventure is a nonprofit organization that enables cancer patients, to experience the beauty of life and power of place found within Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The children – whose lives have been previously put on hold, due to the rigors of cancer treatment – experience travel, nature, education, introspection, bonding, and friendship surrounded by one of our world’s most inspiring and unforgettable settings.
Parents provide transportation to departure airport, Teton Science Schools will retrieve them upon arrival in to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Children are accompanied by one Baylor physician, one physician assistant/liaison and ‘Counselors’, as selected by Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
All programs free of charge to all participants.
