The Friendship Circle of Houston 

The Friendship Circle offers a variety of support for families with children with Disabilities and involve them in a full range of social and Judaic experiences. FC) works to build an inclusive community through a variety of volunteer, social, Jewish and educational programs. FC pairs teen volunteers with kids with disabilities for weekly play-dates, hosts regular inclusive Jewish and social programs including bowling parties and Shabbat dinners, leads educational workshops in schools and youth groups throughout the greater Houston area, hosts an annual community-wide Friendship Walk and more!

• Engage children, teens, and adults with disabilities through a full range of experiences.
• Provide parents and families of children and teens with disabilities with much-needed respite and support.

The Friendship Circle: Youth Division and Friend@home matches teenage volunteers to visit with the child to extend a helping hand and also to be a mentor for the child.

The Sunday Circle is a drop off program for children with disabilities. It gives the parents a chance to enjoy a much needed respite.

The Holiday Program allows the entire family to celebrate together in a comfortable setting. Volunteers are on hand to ensure that the event meets the particular needs of the children. 

Bowling Buddies is  held on the first or second Sunday of the month at Palace Lanes.

Friendship Circle Young Adult Division is a program for young adults with special needs. Judaic and social programs are arranged every other month, and participants are paired up with young adults from YJP(Young Jewish Professionals) Houston and other young adults from around Houston.
