Many Salvation Army locations provide hot meals year-round to anyone in need, no questions asked. Food Pantries may provide several days worth of groceries to families and offer grocery delivery services for home bound seniors. Limited assistance with partial rent payment is often available and providing referral to other partner agencies is offered. The Salvation Army will provide utility assistance, and help keep power switched on. Many Salvation Army locations have services that will help individuals find a job, including resume preparation and job searching assistance. Salvation Army Family Stores sell new or gently used items at a reduced cost. Salvation Army supplies store vouchers for single adults who are disaster survivors or are experiencing financial strain. Families or individuals may also qualify for household vouchers. Bus cards and gas money are also available.
