Eric M. Suhl Endowed Scholarship:
This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Eric and is directed to help UT students who live with colitis, Crohn’s, IBS or any chronic medical issue. At least one scholarship for a minimum of $1000 will be awarded each fall for use during the academic year.
Lois Ford LaBauve Scholarship:
At least one scholarship for a minimum of $500 will be awarded per year for students who have a disability that impairs their ability to access printed material.
Margaret Nosek Scholarship:
For students who will be at the senior, master or doctoral level in the next academic year. They must certify that they have a disability that causes a significant functional limitation in one or more major life activities.
Carole L. Zoom Endowed Scholarship:
For students with physical disabilities that are enrolled in at least six hours at UT Austin, with preference given to students with a mobility disability. Applicants must have at least a minimum 2.5 UT GPA. Financial need may be used to distinguish among applicants.
Will Rogers Memorial Scholarship:
The Will Rogers Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a limited number of qualified students registered at The University of Texas at Austin. This scholarship is intended for disabled students or non-disabled students studying to work with disabled individuals, especially disabled children.
The Karen Wolffe & Terry Hirsh Scholarship:
The Karen Wolffe & Terry Hirsh scholarship support to one or more undergraduate students who have a visual disability and who are pursuing a degree/career in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). In addition to tuition, the scholarship may be used for housing, living expenses or University of Texas at Austin fees.
James M. Young Endowment:
The James M. Young Endowment provides funding that is intended for currently enrolled UT students with disabilities needing financial support for a variety of reasons, including, but not limited to: emergency funds, ongoing disability-related educational expenses, professional development opportunities, attending conferences/trainings and associated travel expenses, assistive technology, unexpected educational or disability-related expenses and study abroad programs.
