Services provided:
First Call
The first call program is designed to pair newly diagnosed families with trained parent volunteers. Volunteers offer up-to-date information in a supportive atmosphere with the goal of helping families understand what this diagnosis means.
Welcome Baskets
When your little one arrives, The Upside would like to welcome your baby with a basket full of goodies and resources designed to help you navigate the first few months of your child's life. Don't worry if you are finding us when your child is six months, a year, or even three! We would love to welcome you with age-appropriate resources to support your journey
Support Meetings
Each month, we meet for fellowship and support at Vernon College, Century City Center, in Wichita Falls. Occasionally, we will hear from specialists in the Wichita Falls area willing to share information about their programs and products and how they can benefit families and individuals with Down syndrome.
