Our research focuses on helping children, adolescents, and adults manage and overcome their anxiety, fears, and sleep-related problems.
SACH offers both research opportunities and low-cost clinical services for individuals and families based on the latest scientific evidence. Services are offered at no charge for U.S. military and their families.
Treatment provided is evidence-based, meaning that the strategies and techniques we use have been shown to be effective in previous treatment research. In particular, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT) are used and is a short-term treatment approach that sets specific goals for therapy. Treatment focuses on providing individuals the skills, experiences and support they need to reduce and overcome problems with anxiety, fear, and/or sleep. In children, parents play a critical role in CBT by helping them practice and master the skills they learn in treatment.
