A Houston-based nonprofit since 1982, Vita Living offers three vital core programs for over 400 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD): 20 group homes in Houston-area neighborhoods, a centrally located activity center and case management across seven counties.
Generous donors recently funded the construction of two new homes built to address all the needs of our residents and their caretakers with open floor plans, wide hallways, accessible bathrooms, a large patio and more. The construction marks a new chapter in the Vita Living story and how we center our clients’ quality of life. Each program is thoughtfully designed to give clients security and routine while also offering them opportunities for enrichment and community engagement.
Vita Living fulfills our mission through three core programs including Residential Services, Activity Center Program, and Case Management services.
