Wellness Alliance for Total Children’s Health (WATCH) of Denton County

The Wellness Alliance for Total Children’s Health (WATCH) of Denton County is a collaboration of both public and private organizations and individuals who are invested in the total wellness of Denton county’s children.

Key programming: 

Parent Cafés – an opportunity to discuss parenting successes and challenges, engage with others, share ideas and learn proven parenting techniques and tips within a small intimate setting. Facilitator trainings are led by a licensed professional to teach community members about the Parent Café model and offer presentation tips.

Counselor Roundtables – professional development that allows for networking and discussion of school counselors to discuss the needs of the community they serve.

Children’s Feelings Are a Work of Art – a collaboration with partners and community organizations to raise awareness about children’s mental health in Wise County.

Child Abuse Prevention Month 

 

The WATCH website provides information articles for kids, teens, and families and community support referrals. The community calendar provides information about local workshops.
