Do you live in South Texas? Do you have a child with a disability or special health care need? Are you an educator, service provider or other professional who works with children with disabilities? If “yes,” the Empowering Tools Conference is for you! Texas Parent to Parent, Point Isabel ISD and Region One ESC (Education Service Center), are excited to bring the Empowering Tools Conference to the Rio Grande Valley.
The Empowering Tools Conference offers 15 breakout sessions. Topics include:
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and Early Intervention Specialists. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) units are available for educators.
ET3 also includes a resource fair with local and state organizations and agencies. They provide information and help connecting to the services your child needs. Free child care and Spanish interpretation services are available. Lunch is provided.

Registration is required to attend, for childcare or to exhibit. The deadline to register is Friday, September 25, 2015. On-site registration will be accepted.
