Navigate Life Texas: Resources for kids with disabilities and special needs

Some of the most talented and creative people around have a disability. VSA Texas offers people with disabilities opportunities to build their creative strengths through the arts.
VSA Texas teaches people to discover, practice and refine their skills. They do this through positive, innovative classes and workshops. Their mission is to challenge perceptions of how people with disabilities contribute. They do this by creating an arts-inspired, inclusive community of individuals with diverse abilities. Inclusive programs that include dance, creative exploration and writing help develop self confidence and social skills. VSA Texas offers arts experiences to enhance skills, confidence and quality of life for people with disabilities.
They currently offer nine programs:
VSA Texas works hard to support and develop young artists with disabilities. They host events during the year to promote the art of people with disabilities.
