Families for Autism Support of Texoma (F.A.S.T.) is a parent group in Wichita Falls and surrounding counties. They are dedicated to supporting and educating individuals living with autism. The group holds monthly events for families to meet, often with educational speakers. F.A.S.T. also hosts the annual Autism Conference of Texoma each April. They also work with other agencies in the community who serve individuals with autism.
FA.S.T. usually meets on the first Thursday of each month. The meetings and events are open to the community. Anyone who has autism or lives with someone with autism is encouraged to attend.
Past activities include: pumpkin painting, swim park, family picnic and more. They’ve also hosted an ice cream get-together and cookie decorating at Christmas in the past.
All events will be posted on the F.A.S.T. Facebook page. For e-mail updates and meeting reminders, join the Families for Autism Support of Texoma Facebook Group. Also check out the F.A.S.T. website for more information about this terrific group!
