You work hard to keep your family safe, healthy and comfortable. Even so, there are times when finances run short. If you are the parent of a child with a disability or special health care need, finances can be a constant concern. Programs in your community are available to provide financial assistance for you and your family.
You may feel stressed or even overwhelmed by emergency medical expenses, prescriptions or getting to and from medical appointments. Have you had a job change that has affected income? Life changes often come with financial struggles.
In Webb County and the surrounding area there are some faith based programs that provide help to those in need. One such program, Laredo's Catholic Social Services, helps families living in the city of Laredo who are experiencing a crisis or dire hardship.
When funds are available, they may be able to help with rent or utility assistance. They may also be able to help with medical transportation, ambulance and prescription medication. Other services are also available to those who qualify. Assistance is limited to City of Laredo residents. For more information about their services, please visit the Laredo Catholic Social Services website.
No matter the reason, if you need help, you may be able to find it in your community. Be sure to check out the Find Services, Groups & Events page on the Navigate Life Texas website for other financial assistance programs.
