Service to, and support of, educators in helping students succeed is at the heart of everything that we do. Every service we provide was developed at the request of schools and we pride ourselves on being responsive to the needs of educators and the communities that they serve.
MISSION: The mission of Region 6 ESC is to empower the educational community to achieve excellence.Region 6 believes increasing parent participation for students with disabilities will increase student achievement. Technical assistance and training will be provided to assist districts with parent involvement. Efforts will be made to increase parent participation in regional and on-site trainings. As first point of contact for parents, an effective intake and referral system will be in place as part of the Child Find System.Families should reach out to the Parent Involvement coordinator for assistance and to learn about any training opportunities.
