Adaptive Play Day

Join the City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department for our first ever Adaptive Play Day! See below for our full schedule of events and find the activities you and your family want to participant in! This free event will celebrate inclusive play and activities throughout our community and is open to everyone! No registration is necessary. We look forward to seeing you at this inaugural event! 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Fitness Classes north of AMBUCS Playground 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Games and vendors around AMBUCS Playground (including activities from Bricks and Minifigs and Phoenix Moon Healing) 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM - Vendors around Maxey Community Center (including Caprock Home Health) 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Food Truck Alley opens west of Maxey Community Center 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Games, crafts and demonstrations at the Maxey Splash Pad (including group games on the hour in the splash pad and a different art project every half hour just outside of the splash pad) 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Pop Up Park games near Maxey Playground 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Fitness Classes west of Maxey Community Center 8:00 PM - Movie in the Park program starts - featuring Finding Nemo at sunset
