National Federation of the Blind of Texas - Houston Chapter, Support Group

The Houston Chapter is a dynamic group of blind students, professionals and retirees demonstrating through action that blind people give back to their community.  The chapter reaches out to educate blind youth through the Houston NFB BELL Program and Saturday BELL School events, providing $1,000 toward state scholarships and purchasing braille children’s books for the Braille Book Fair at the NFB National Convention. The chapter gives back to its membership by sponsoring flights to NFB Washington Seminar. 

Until further notice, the Houston chapter will not meet in person. Instead, we will meet using the free Zoom platform. Meetings will typically take place on the third Saturday of the month from 11 AM to 1 PM unless otherwise noted.
