Bay Area Rehabilitation Center

Provide outpatient therapeutic, vocational, social skill training and recreational services for persons with disabilities or injuries and support services for their families. The Center also seeks to advocate for and work to provide accessible and affordable housing for this population. They provide outpatient occupational, physical and speech therapy services to pediatric clients ages 3 – 21. Staff is qualified to treat: Cerebral Palsy, Closed Head Injuries, Developmental Delays, Downs Syndrome, Genetic Syndromes, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurological Syndromes, Post Surgical, Spina Bifida and Orthopedic Conditions.  Speech Therapists are qualified to treat: Articulation, Delays in Language Development, Feeding, Oral Motor Stimulation, Stuttering and Voice. Unique therapy services provided include: Assistive Technology, Aquatics, Augmentative Communication, Communication Devices, Gait Analysis and Sensory integration.  Adult Services Include: Post operative conditions resulting in decreased functional level (i.e. total knee and hip replacements), Progressive neurological disease/disorders, Sport injuries and Work related injuries, Accessible, affordable housing for adults with physical disabilities, mobility impairment and/or traumatic injury., Aquatic Program, Clinics, Patsy's Destiny Wheelchair Accessible Nature Trail and Playground, Work Rehabilitation
