City of Carrollton Adaptive Programs

Programs are currently provided through Carrollton Parks & Recreation and the Carrollton Public Library

To allow the city to make accommodations for your child's specific needs, please contact the department running the event up to at least a week before the scheduled event.

The City partnered with KultureCity® to make six facilities Sensory Inclusive™. These facilities include: 

• Crosby Recreation Center
  • Social Story
• Rosemeade Recreation Center
  • Social Story
• Carrollton Senior Center
  • Social Story
• A.W. Perry Homestead Museum
  • Social Story
• Josey Ranch Lake Library
  • Social Story
• Hebron & Josey Library
  • Social Story

All-terrain wheelchairs are available at Elm Fork reserve with a 72 advanced notice 

Communication boards are currently installed at:

• Mary Heads Carter Park  
• Holman D. Rhoton Park
• W. J. Thomas Park
• Jimmy Porter Park
• Rosemeade Park
• Josey Ranch Sports Complex Adaptive Field #6 (inside the dugout)

A multi-use field for all ages and abilities is located at the Josey Ranch Sports Complex Field #6
