Community Options believes in the dignity of every person, and in the freedom of all people to experience the highest degree of self-determination. Embracing this philosophy, Community Options provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. They serve thousands of individuals with disabilities throughout 12 states.
Community Options supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism spectrum isorder, Fragile X syndrome, Prader-Willi, and traumatic brain injury. Many of the individuals they serve also have comorbid medical and mental health conditions such as seizure disorder, pica, diabetes, mood disorders, schizoaffective disorders, and impulse control disorders.
