Cypress Assistance Ministries

CAM helps individuals and families who have experienced an unexpected emergency resulting in a financial hardship. Each client meets with an assistance counselor to determine the type of assistance that will best move them back on the road to self-sufficiency.  In order for us to provide service, you must live in zip codes 77065, 77095, 77429 and 77433.*

Financial Assistance

Food-CAM may provide food and toiletries from the CAM Food Pantry.

Operation Jobs-CAM's goal is to help the job seeker by offering direction in their job search and providing the practical tools (such as resumes and cover letters) needed to become a long-term, valuable employee.

GED Classes-CAM offers three sessions of GED classes throughout the year to help many people obtain their high-school equivalency certification.

ESL Classes-CAM has been changing lives, allowing people to now communicate with their doctors, their children's teachers, and more with our ESL classes. We offer three sessions of ESL classes 

S.H.O.P. Delivery-CAM knows how difficult it can be for elderly and people wiht disabilities to obtain life's necessities on a limited income with limited mobility. CAM offers a Senior home bound Delivery program for those who qualify, allowing them to receive a monthly delivery of food.

Household Goods-CAM may provide household goods or furniture for a family. This includes linens, dishes, and other household items.

Clothing-CAM may provide a clothing voucher to be used in Angels' Attic, CAM's resale store. This enables each qualifying person to select clothing for themselves and their family members.
