Deaf Ministries - Archdiocese of San Antonio

Deaf Ministry for the Archdiocese of San Antonio provides pastoral ministry to and advocates for deaf individuals.  The office coordinates, implements and evaluates services and programs for persons who are deaf.  Deaf Ministry also assists parishes in identifying needs and making plans to achieve accessibility goals.    Several churches throughout the archdiocese offer sign language interpreters for Mass.  These include:  Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saturday 5:30 PM and Sunday, 10:00 AM; St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, Sunday, 10:30 AM; St. Francis of Assisi, Sunday, 11:15 AM'; St. Leo the Great, Sunday, 12:00 PM; St. Mark the Evangelist, Sunday, 5:00 PM.  Sign language interpreters are also available for religious education assistance and special events.  Access this service by contacting Deaf Ministry at  (210) 734-2620 EXT 1209 or check the website at , click on "Ministries" and then click on "Deaf Ministry".
