The Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas

The Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas provides help for children,adolescents and their caregivers to understand the depth of their grief, to stabilize and preserve family relationships, and to help develop healthy coping skills after the death of a loved one.  The Center offers private therapy sessions for both the individual and family members who are experiencing or anticipating the death of a loved one.  Clients receive psychotherapy and choose expressive art modalities such as art, music, poetry, dance/movement, drama, and writing.  Some specialties are play therapy for children, sandplay for all ages, expressive art therapy for all ages. Services include Grief Support Groups and Counseling, Grief Camps, Crisis Response Services, and School-Based Support Groups.
